When it came time to pay, I asked for the check and noted "cash" on both copies, along with the total from the receipt. My friend generously left a $40 cash tip for our server, Trisha, which was more than enough for the service we received.
However, when I checked my bank statement a few days later, I noticed that the amount charged had increased by $20. Unfortunately, I didn’t keep a receipt, as I don’t carry a purse and didn’t want to hold on to it. I contacted the restaurant on Tuesday and spoke to the general manager, requesting a copy of my receipt. They promptly sent me a digital version, which clearly showed a $20 tip that I did not authorize, given that I left a cash tip instead....
This was my first visit to the restaurant, and while the music and ambiance are delightful, the food left much to be desired. The goat cheese salad was heavily overdressed, and the dressing lacked any real flavor. I ended up only eating the beets and oranges. Even the goat cheese was bland! My boyfriend ordered the Ahi salad, which had good Ahi, but it was also over-dressed and didn’t come with the modifications he requested (dressing on the side and no onions). The salad itself was tasteless—how does that happen? On a positive note, the pizza chips were delicious, but they were essentially just a cheese pizza with garlic. Many people seem to come for the beer and wine, but they stick around for the lively ambiance and delicious pizza. The pizza itself had a rustic appearance, topped with shredded chicken and garlic—a unique combination that I had never tried before. I believe that was the second most popular pizza, and it was incredibly tasty and obviously fresh.
Each time I pull into the Harrah's parking lot, I see the back patio and remind myself to visit when I notice people enjoying their time there. I think you should give it a try too!
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! I really appreciated how late they serve food, and it was great to enjoy dancing to the club music playing at the front while we had our late-night snack. The pizza was incredibly delicious, and you'd never guess it was made with gluten-free crust – it was that good! We also loved the ranch dressing. Our server was attentive, friendly, and quick. Overall, we had a wonderful time and look forward to returning on our next visit to Lake Tahoe.

The restaurant has a beautiful interior, excellent service, and delectable food. The pizza is a must-try! We enjoyed a French dip, a green salad with the best ranch dressing I've ever tasted, and a delicious pizza. I will definitely return!

The pizza wasn't fully cooked! They don't bake it long enough, resulting in a doughy and unappetizing texture. If you're looking for a properly cooked pizza, I recommend going to Aleworx at the Y instead. They know how to get it right!
I went back when there wasn't a celebrity golf tournament, and it was fantastic. The service was excellent, and the pizza was the best I've had. Be sure to add chili oil, arugula, and honey as toppings for your pizza!
Great pizza. We had the Veggie Delight without jalapeños. Fast, friendly service. I'm recommending to others and plan to return the next time we're in South Lake.
