Buckle up bc we have endless big things to say: the food is clearly as fresh as you can get and is of the highest quality of the cook is a genius. The combination of aromas on this menu is different from everything you find, it's total brilliance bless this kitchen and staff for the navigation of our milk and gluten allergies. A must for dinner in Highlands, NC! From start to finish the experience was 5?? the staff who answered our call for a reservation was friendly and helpful on Gluten-free options (she checked with the chef too), hostess upon arrival was welcoming, our server was excellent, and the meal was truly one of the best we?ve had. The owner checked with us on how our dinner was and gave us a warm goodbye when leaving. Each dish was mouth watering, hot, and delicious! We highly recommend Lakeside Restaurant for dinner, cheers!

One of my favorite restaurants everywhere! Loves this place for many years. They are consistently excellent and we have so many wonderful memories and meals there! Tonight was excellent as usual. I had some of the most beautiful experiences here? Love this place!

Absolutely delicious! Chef Kevin has designed an impeccable menu. The taste profiles were enthusiastically paired. The staff was friendly. Our Merrill server delivered Exceiservice.

For the first time, Diner! Scallops were so good. Very loud in a small dining room with tables too close together. Service was very good. It has an outside seat.
