I called to tell them this they apologised and would send the correct parts out. I had suspected that i had been overcharged and after adding it up via the menu i had been by £3-4. We frequently order takeout from Lakeside, and I must say that it is the only restaurant where the food is consistently high quality every time. During our most recent visit, we ordered a meal for 4 people (myself, my partner, my sister, and my niece). We opted to only order main courses as the portions are quite filling. I had my favorite dish, the king prawn chow mien with fine noodles, while my partner had chicken with cashews, my sister had chicken with green peppers and black bean sauce, and my niece had lemon chicken. Since moving to Dumbarton, we've been on the hunt for a good Chinese restaurant and Lakeside fits the bill perfectly. The food is freshly cooked and delicious, with quick delivery to boot. We particularly enjoyed the battered salt chili chips, which can be hard to find at other places. The only minor downside is that some of the portions could be a bit bigger, but that's probably just me being a bit greedy!
Ordered over £60 worth of food for 8 adults, to be served raw chicken in both the satay and chicken wings which were reheated. The salt and chilli chips were just salt and every meal was devoid of flavour. The Kung Po chicken wasn’t bad as it wasn’t anything as there was no flavour. Very poor would not recommend to my worst enemy. A few slices of toast was needed afterwards. Avoid.

Ever since the previous owners departed, the new owner has hiked prices twice amidst the pandemic, all the while shrinking portion sizes. The quality and taste of the food have also taken a hit for the worse. We used to be regular customers at this restaurant every weekend, but not anymore.
Got a mixture of filled breakfast rolls. No complaints..all good. Quite a good choice on the menu, ideal when all you want is a quick bite to eat at a reasonable price.
The Lakeside is out Chinese takeaway of choice, the food is always hot and tasty and delivery is very quick, the staff are always friendly.
Pleasant staff very helpful took time to answer questions about dishes on the menu simple dish well made would use again .

I use this takeaway on a regular bases. Always plenty and piping hot. They will amend orders to suite likes and dislikes.
