We wanted something a bit more upscale for our anniversary, but we were really disappointed with this restaurant. They have a unique bread and butter combination while you wait, but it can be hit or miss. When we ordered the southwest egg rolls, they turned out to be mainly dough, which was disappointing. Our main dishes were fine, but our server seemed to disappear whenever we needed her. We love the bread . It is kind of like pretzel bread. My kids have decided they love pretzels and cheese and just got that to share for their entree. The crab cakes are yummy! Usually I go with salmon but I branched out and tried something new. Myhusband always orders whatever the server recommends and has always liked it. He loves sitting outside and being to see theboats on the water while we relax and have dinner. The servers and people outside serving drinks were super nice and the foodis great. Tip: Make sure you get there before 5:30 if you don?t want want to wait more than 30-45 minutes for a table!

I really enjoyed the food, and the service was good, especially considering it was the server's third day on the job. I hope he received most of the tip, which should have been over $50 for five people. However, I think the restaurant should remove the jerk chicken from the menu since they don't capture the true Jamaican vibe or prepare it properly. It might be better to add a new dish instead. Fantastic food choices and top-notch quality. The staff is consistently amazing. The servers are friendly, and the atmosphere is really cool. The views are stunning, making the wait well worth it. The servers have a great knowledge of the menu.

We had a fantastic time at Lakeside Tavern. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! I tried shrimp and grits for the first time, and they were wonderfully flavorful and satisfying. My husband really enjoys their bread as well.
