If you're in Northborough, there's simply no other coffee shop/cafe option better than LaLaJava. I don't get to visit as often as I used to when I lived in town, but I stop by whenever I get the chance, and the experience is as stellar as it was the first time I discovered them about 5 years ago. Their coffee is top tier, they have ample options for non-coffee drinkers, and the service is always awesome. LaLa, the owner, has created the type of business standard with a focus on community that we should all be supporting. Can't say enough great things about this place!
Ambience is nice and lively! Small space with lot of beverage options! We got the raspberry latte which was nice and flavourful! But the food is a big disappointment! We got the flatbread! Horrible! They just heat up a frozen wheat base with some store bought prego marinara and canned toppings! Equally died appointment was the tomato soup! It was so thick with chunks of tomato and the taste felt pathetic! Overall wouldn’t visit back!
I'm so pleased to have discovered this hidden gem close to my home! I've been there twice already and will definitely be returning. The food is fresh, and the coffee is fantastic! I really appreciate that they are dog-friendly, and the staff is incredibly accommodating. I highly recommend this place! Also, how adorable is the treat they gave my dog?
Fun spot with island vibes and good coffee. The food is decent, not nothing to write home about. The drinks are the main attraction: they have so many menu items it's a bit overwhelming going for the first time! I would recommend checking their coffee menu online before visiting.

Excellent coffee. Fun ambiance. Staff was snooty. Would stop again when/if I'm in the area. Update: I recently started going back to lalajava, and it's my new favorite place! Staff is amazing, incredibly friendly, and helpful. Excellent product quality.
We visit Lala Java every time we vacation to MA. The drinks are always good. I was disappointed that they no longer use real peanut butter in their drinks. They use some kind of powder. The snickerchino doesn’t taste as good as it used to.
Found this place by luck when searching for coffee and trying to avoid the popular chains. As a Brazilian, I understand what a good coffee tastes like (sorry, Dunkin), and this place has amazing coffee and great ambiance.Food: 5/5
I asked for something with espresso and coconut. They made me an iced coconut latte it’s actually the best latte I’ve ever had. 10/10Just wished they took Apple Pay ?
