L'Alcyon - Reservar una mesa

This is a lovely restaurant just off the high street,which offers a terrace or indoor dining. We chose smoked duck salad and the homemade terrine for starters and both were superb. To follow we enjoyed mussels in a Normandy sauce(a creamy sauce of cider ..maybe a little calvados) with frites. This was probably the best sauce we have had and we are great mussel fans. The lady serving was very kind and attentive and the chef/owner came out to talk to us to see what we thought of his dishes.Next time we are in Cabourg,we will be returning.

L'équipe de l'alcyon est très sympathique, la cuisine est un vrai régal ! Pour dire, on y a mangé 3 jours de suite ! Je recommande ce restaurant qui propose de la cuisine maison avec des aliments frais ! Bravo !

Friendly staff, excellent food (the Duck Breast with Cider was perfectly cooked, and the True Burger was "the best burger [I'd] had in a long time"), and

We visited the place once, and only tried sweet crepes. It wasn't bad, but nothing spectacular and too pricey for the quality.

We had yet to have an authentic crepe experience so we scurried in here on a rainy afternoon.
