This is a lovely restaurant with a knowledgeable waitress who expertly explained the menu, including preparation methods and ingredients. The house special lobster was decent, although the sauce was too overpowering and the risotto lacked flavor. The osso buco, however, was quite good and paired well with the plain risotto. The flounder with crab was also very enjoyable. While the portion sizes were generous, the prices were on the higher side. Overall, I had a pleasant dining experience for dinner.
This was our first visit to this restaurant. It is intimately arranged in very pleasant space. They offered many specials in addition to a very complete menu. We started with a special fig appetizer that was very flavorful. We then ordered the special black linguini with lobster and veal saltumbuco. Both dishes were beautiful to behold and tasty. The desserts of chocolate mousse cake and rum cake were also very good.
We visited on a Friday night with our daughter and her fiancé. We got the table we had requested, and our server was Allana, whom we've had before. She was very attentive, and the service was impeccable. The chef even prepared a special entrée at our request. The food was delicious! It was a wonderful evening, and I would highly recommend this restaurant!
This is our 3rd time eating at L’Allegria. Every time we dine here it’s the same experience: great food, but terribly slow service. 3 hours for appetizers and entrees (we skipped dessert after dinner drinks) is way too long. We would eat here more often if they would improve the service. Great pizza, pasta and fish entrees.

The service feels warm and welcoming, as if you’re part of the family. Best of all, the food is delicious. Whether it’s lunch or dinner, it’s always a pleasure to dine here.
Even though we had a reservation, we arrived late in the evening when most guests had already departed. However, the staff could not have been more welcoming, and there was no sense of urgency at all. The meals were fantastic, and the hospitality was outstanding. I would give it a perfect 10!
The owner helped us with a prefix dinner menu for my husband’s bday.and gave us a nice private room . The food and the service were amazing. Had a great celebration!
Excellent as always. One special was black pasta with lobster. It was incredible. While the portion was generous, I felt like getting another one for dessert!

Always a great Saturday or Weekday place to go. Great staff and owners are always there to great you coming in.
