Lalola - Reserva de mesa

Been here many times as I have an apartment very near by. Always have the menu of the day early evening. On this visit we were told they have never done that which is not true. So we just had a main, one shared sweet and 2 drinks. I was shocked how expensive this was (Over €50) . Food was good though but smaller portions. I came here to have a reasonably priced meal but ends up being very expensive so won’t be coming back fast. Waiter blamed the cost of living crisis. I personally would have just put up the price of the menu of the day to cover the extra cost. This decision will loose them business as I know many who do the same as us.

We visited Es Castell on the local bus from Mahon. We chose Pizzeria Lalola to have lunch, based on their Menu del Dia that was posted outside. Service was great, food was excellent and the price was very good for what we got. Starter, main course, dessert, bread and drink. All for €18. Similar menus in Ciutadella were €25 without bread. We had a lovely view of the bay while sitting there.

Es con una enorme tristeza que escribo que Lalola ha cerrado. Me gustaría agradecer a los dueños y al personal por más de 20 años de servicio fabuloso y comida brillante. El restaurante era uno de los pocos lugares típicos de Menorca que quedaban con vistas fabulosas sobre el puerto de Mahón. Una parte de Menorca se ha ido para siempre. Descanse en paz, Lalola.

We had a meal here after strolling around Es Castell we fancied pizza and pasta and this place had the perfect menu. I had the gnocchi and my partner had a pizza. We both polished our plates and can agree they were delicious! Waitress was lovely and the view just speaks for itself! Recommend if you are in Es Castell or the surrounding area. La verdad que de italiano tiene muy poco. Turístico por estar ubicado en el paseo del puerto pero la calidad de la comida es muy baja. Cabe destacar el precio de un litro de agua, necesario debido al calor que hace en su terraza.

Service and staff very friendly. Great view. Food mediocre to poor, wasn’t cheap. Seafood you’d expect to be fresh but calamari was frozen and fried and pasta had no taste. Won’t be going back here

Four of us had a lunch here. Good food and good menu with plenty of choice. Just had lunch there but expect it was the same menu for dinner. Reserva una mesa ahora

Una noche muy agradable, buena comida y vino de la casa, y un personal muy amable. Un entorno agradable. Vale la pena una visita.

Trato inmejorable, buena ubicación con vistas al puerto, comida riquísima y abundante. Para repetir sin duda.
