What a pleasant experience! We booked a table at L'Alsacien at the very last minute and did not expect much. We got a table outside which was perfect considering the weather. My sister really liked the kir and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal- our crudite, charcuterie and cheese platter then followed by a couple of flammekueche and then the dessert. I may have had flammekueche a couple of times before but this was by far the best I have had, the dough was just perfect, thin and just crispy enough. Alsatian who has been living in a nest for more than 20 years now, I usually wait to go back to Petersburg to eat a torch pie. This year, a passage too fast in alsace that I prevented from doing. We found ourselves at the Alsatian and we were not disappointed by the aperitif board: cheeses and cold cuts, excellent, or the pies served in alsace! not disappointed us more with vegetarian and vegetarian alternatives. In addition to that, the reception is top. We'll be back!

An informal themed restaurant. Is this the Alsatian version of pizza? Decent food, but a bit of Disneyfication involved. Fine for a quick bite.
