We went for dinner with our 2 daughters without having a reservation. We were lucky and we got a table in the very nice patio. The setting was very promising for a nice evening out. But This is were the nice experience stopped. It took more than 20 minutes before we even got the menus and we had to ask ourselves if we could order drinks. It was half past nine and we were fed up waiting. We were about to leave when they came to take the orders . We made a comment that it took extremely long and that we would have loved to order drinks before ordering the food directly. Compared to the rest of the waiting time, food did come fairly quickly and it was really good value for money. Unfortunately the unfriendliness of the owner and the staff and the fact that they persisted in ignoring us (and other customers ) really gave us the feeling that we were just not welcome. Too bad. I would love to return here but staff will have to become more customer friendly first.
My wife and I love this restaurant and lucky for us we live above it. Years ago it was an Indian place with a crazy owner but now it is amazing Italian and food as fresh as can be. Georgia is always our waitress and could not be friendlier. Lunch or Dinner you cannot go wrong here and the value is amazing. There is inside dining and a garden courtyard as well as terrace in front and families can dine well as can couples. The value is amazing. We are lucky to have them so close but it is worth the drive in you plan a visit to Antibes. Pizza, Pasta, Salads, everything is fresh and as the song goes " Georgia on My Mind " if she waits on you. You will be very happy you dined here and so will your guests.
After testing several restaurants in Antibes, most of them don't have the expected quality and just count on quantity from a touristic place.This isn't the case for L'Altro restaurant where meals are quite good and servers are nice.Glad to have finally found a good place to eat close to the old town of Antibes.
