I had lunch with my wife at the restaurant in the Waldshut old city on a cold and rainy day. We had a quick look at the menu displayed in the box on the wall outside and decided that we liked what we saw. We...entered and came into a cosy and warm old-style restaurant. The restaurants exists since and is managed by the current owners since We were quickly seated by a friendly waitress who took our order after a few minutes. Looking for a good restaurant, we came here just by chance. I have to be honest despite the restaurant being in the pedestrian zone. In our opinion the service and food deserve a 15/10. We felt very comfortable. The food was delicious and the waiter was super attentive and friendly. All in all, a restaurant that we will come back to when we are in the area. Keep it up! My friend and I were looking for a place for lunch that had atmosphere but was not over priced. I think we have a new favorite spot. They serve Rösti and Schweinsbraten among many other German dishes. You may have to make reservations if you...want to sit upstairs, but the cellar was clean and private. The food was delicious and the wait staff was friendly.

Fantastic German traditional food in a betautiful setting. The schnitzel and the salad were delicious and I cannot wait until we have the opportunity to go there again.
