L'Amore is always a treat. There's Greg at the door, with handshakes and hugs; it's like coming home to your favorite relative's house. The food, as always, was delicious: I had the special halibut piccata, which was excellent. We started with mussels, equally excellent, and my son loved his pasta with a giant side meatball. Our server, Jill, was an absolute hoot. Add to all of this generous, beautiful ice cold martinis, and you have the makings of a perfect meal. A tremendous antidote to the relentless heat...

My wife and I ate at L'Amore for the first time on July 21. She had the chicken piccata and I had the eggplant parmigiana. The food and service were excellent. We will definitely return.
