My wife and I booked for Sunday lunch as we had heard that the pub had reopened. The pub itself is very attractive, and the staff very pleasant. There was no menu but the choice was beef, pork or lamb. Nothing vegan or vegetarian, nor offer of small portions. A huge plateful arrived, with eight accompanying vegetables roast potatoes, mashed potato, broccoli, creamy cabbage, mange touts, beetroot, mashed swede, parsnip puree) crackling, applesauce, mint sauce, yorkshire pudding and gravy. All looked great and was a pleasure to eat. Linsey and Lee, the wonderfully friendly owners of this pub, have recently renovated the place while still maintaining its authentic atmosphere. The food is delicious, with a wide selection of drinks including local favorites, a variety of gins, and interesting ales. I am a regular customer here, and I highly recommend making reservations for food as they can get busy. They also offer one or two vegan options on the menu.
We called in for lunch and found the whole place completely empty of anyone, no staff or customers. Finally the landlord arrived telling us there was no food today because it wasn't worth it as we'd probably be the only customers. I noticed the only beer available was London Pride, a strange thing only 5 miles from Lands End. Considering it's only open 4 days a week, I fear for the future of this establishment.
I have visited this restaurant many times over the years and still visit often. I have never been disappointed with their lovely Sunday roast dinners. The meals are very tasty with generous portions and the atmosphere is always lovely. Thank you to the hosts Lynsey and Lee for their delicious meals and for always taking care of us.

I had the best Sunday roast at the wink. We were a party of twenty adults and four young children. The food was excellent and the portions generous, each main had its own gravy! Lindsey kept in touch from booking to arrival
Not been in the Wink for a few years now, went in today wow what a diffrence, still lovley people who own the wink now and the customers all lovley and friendly be back again this year.
Great good Friday event at the wink , Lee and Lynsey organised a great event , 2 live bands , bbq and face painting for the kids .
This restaurant is a hidden gem with amazing staff and incredible food! The atmosphere is great and I highly recommend it.

We were staying nearby and wandered over. Lovely pub with very well kept beer at reasonable prices. Well worth the visit.
