Lamy's Mexican Food

I absolutely love Lamy's! The pork nachos are incredibly fresh and delicious—truly one of the best dishes around. They're generously portioned and can easily feed two people. You can always count on a top-notch dining experience when the owner is present every day. Lamy and his family arrive in the morning to prepare everything from scratch. I have a second home in Ivins, and I make it a point to visit Lamy's whenever I'm in town. Food: 5 stars.

Lamys continues to charge for extras like salsa or sauce, which feels unnecessary—similar to charging for ketchup when you order French fries. Paying $2 for a small container of salsa with a burrito seems excessive. Neither Ernesto’s nor Sanchez’s in the area has this practice, and I find the food at Sanchez’s and Ernesto’s to be better as well. I only had takeout service this time.

Great food. Large quantities. Worth the price. Great staff. Friendly, happy, patient. Could use a touch of updating, maybe some music on in the background? but it's clean and a great place for lunch or dinner. Vegetarian options: I had the veggie breakfast burrito. It was so yummy. This restaurant offers great value for the price, with main dishes typically ranging from $10 to $20 per person. The food is exceptional, earning a perfect score of 5, while the service is solid, rated at 4. The atmosphere, however, is a bit average, coming in at a 3. The food is excellent, and my entire family enjoys dining here. While the bathrooms could use some cleaning, the dining area itself is kept tidy. Unfortunately, drinks do not come with refills. One of the staff members really reminds me of the Soup Nazi from the Seinfeld episode!

I was genuinely impressed by how tasty the food was! The flavors were excellent. My only issue is that they place their enchiladas in a styrofoam container and then microwave it, which can be quite harmful. They should consider a safer way to heat their food.

I visited Lamy this week and it was fantastic! I enjoyed it so much that I returned just a few days later. The healthy Mexican fare is right up my alley! I tried the nachos and the salad, and they were delicious! I'm sure my whole family will be back!
