A renovated well preserved land house restaurant with the friendliest welcoming and accommodating personnel ever. I enjoyed a prosecco and was served a very delicious amuse bouche of a smoked sausage slice sitting on a spoonful of delicious polenta. The cook greeted from thee balcony above and I could help but feel at home. ! The prelude made excitement as our waiter explained the 4 course meal to be served. The meal was served indoors upstairs. As I entered this vast well maintained house I wanted to be transported back in time to experience the family who lived there. No floors were creaking! Large rooms and artifacts added to the decor. Such as a huge fireplace bellow used as a coffee tab...
Dining in this unbelievably beautiful 18th century farmhouse is a once in a lifetime experience not to miss when travelling in Switzerland. It feels like visiting friends, the warm welcome from the hosts Beat and Christine Beyeler, the amazing seasonal cuisine and the beautiful wine cellar focusing on Swiss wines guaranty for an unforgettable experience! If you go during summertime you can enjoy your dinner in the garden in front of the house, enjoying the pristine Swiss countryside. Make sure to book ahead as seating is limited and go for the Chef's Recommendations, you can't go wrong. We will be back soon!
Wir haben gestern Abend dort das innovative Car Dinner genossen. Ein Riesenkompliment an das ganze Rohrmoosteam, das diesen Aufwand auf sich nimmt um die Gäste mit einem köstlichen 3-Gang-Menu zu verwöhnen. Das Gastgeberpaar, der nette, sympathische Koch, der sich nicht zu schade ist auch im Service zu helfen und die supernette und hochmotivierte Servicemitarbeiterin, wirklich genial. Bitte haltet durch, wir werden euch auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen kommen. Herzlichen Dank euch allen.
Unfortunately, the expected brunch experience didn't come to fruition. The sparse supply was only replenished after laborious inquiries. Most three-star hotels offer an equivalent breakfast buffet in the overnight price. We are looking forward to the first August brunch with the farmers.
