The food was absolutely delicious specially my dish, salmon steak with spinach for lunch. The service is impeccable. Some of them can speak english very well. I have a chance talking to one of the chef, saying how nice the food is. He might not...understand my poor german with busy look but I can see his attention and how he enjoy his cooking. Conclusion, food is impeccably delicious, service is excellent, price is a bit high but understandable. So next time When I come back to Herisau, I will visit this restaurant again.

Every time I visit Herisau I am looking forward to eat out in this restaurant. Service is always very good and food is top-notch.I had several different meals for dinner, each one was fantastic, but I must say that I love the Calf Gordon Blue with potatoes the most. It is one of my all time favorite meals - and I travel and eat out quite a lot.I fully recommend it to all my friends visiting area, I am sure that I will come back next time I am in area as well.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you ever find yourself in area! Splendid atmosphere and the service was five-star! Waitresses were friendly, smiley, and made you feel welcome. Food was superb! Husband had the steak which was cooked to perfection and I had the fish and spinach and it was equally as good! I would definitely go back and plan on taking family members when the come to visit! Great place!

we often come here and are never disappointed. good eating with the freshest ingredients, very friendly and cozy sereis with a very icy mix of weeps. definitiw the best restaurant in herisau.

This is good and comfortable place at Herisau. They serve European menu only. Vegetarians may have to find some other joint. Staff is very efficient and some can speak English.

We often eat there and are always surprised about the excellent food. The menue consists of Landhaus Classics and also seasonal food.
really great eating and home wine, friendly staff. I ate every evening for 5 days there and every meal was a joy.
