Family-run hotel, right on the edge of the forest, with everything you need for a relaxing holiday in the Bavarian Forest. Wellness, sauna, infrared cabin and heated outdoor pool with views of the Wildgehege. Located in the immediate vicinity of the National Park with walking routes to the Lusen, to Rachel and to the animal-free area. Also worth mentioning is the outstanding cuisine and always well-launched waiters. There are raised dogs in the hotel and restaurant.
The room (Moorblick) was clean and up-to-date. You have a beautiful view to the back of the forest. The breakfast buffet was great, it was all available to start well strengthened in the day. The only thing that didn't convince us was dinner. Portions at the price measured too small and partly too salty. If you are looking for a hotel with direct forest/walking entrance is well served here. Staff was always friendly. I would recommend it anyway.
A very great country hotel that combines modernity and tradition to a great experience! The staff is very warm, the dishes are all fresh and the prices are absolutely good. The quiet location offers many opportunities for hiking and the in-house wellness area should use parking: There are enough parking spaces right in front of the house
Not even helpful on arrival. Had to wait for someone to come. In the room the heating was switched off and cold in the room at the temperatures. Actually, I wanted to stay for two days, but in the family had died. Not even a condolences on departure. I would no longer start this hotel Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
