Stopped in for some Kona coffee. Small, locally run farm. Bought medium roast and peaberry, as well as some green bean to roast at home. The coffee is fabulous. The medium roast really brings out the flavours in the coffee. Hints of cocoa and absolutely luscious. Now back in Canada, but for the next several mornings I will get to savour the tastes of Kona. I highly recommend this farm and will be looking to purchase more here in the future.
I'm a bit delayed in sharing this review, but I visited the farm back in October 2018, and John provided my friend and me with an outstanding and comprehensive tour. We gained a lot of insight into coffee, and the coffee we bought to take home was the best I've ever tasted. It's clear that John has a genuine passion for coffee and his work.
By far the best coffee and best coffee farm tour I have experienced. Mr. Langenstien is a man who LOVES coffee and enjoys sharing his coffee and knowledge with others. This is a family farm, so call or email first before stopping by, to make sure there's someone there to greet you.
I ordered 1 pound to give it a try, and I absolutely loved it! You could tell it was roasted within three days of arriving in the mail. The aroma and flavor were fantastic. I will definitely be buying from them again. Thank you, and keep up the great work! Reserva una mesa ahora
Unfortunately, John has had to temporarily close the restaurant. However, I spoke with him on the phone, and he hopes to reopen in time for the New Year.
