First time at Laana Cuisine. Parked at the theater and made the short walk over. Love the decor of this place. The colours and materials used is beautiful even the ceilings are lovely. The restaurant is spacious and well-maintained, but I don’t find the food to be truly authentic Thai. It leans more towards a Chinese-Thai fusion, evident by the simplified Chinese on the menu, which suggests they cater to a Mainland Chinese clientele. The flavors tend to skew more towards Chinese cuisine. While the staff is friendly and the prices are on the higher side, the food quality is average and not particularly remarkable. There are plenty of other Thai restaurants in the area, and I doubt I’ll return anytime soon.
This was my first visit to Lanna Cuisine, and I didn’t find the food to be authentically Thai. The restaurant is clean and tidy, but the tables are placed too close together with no social distancing. The waitstaff are very friendly and welcoming. However, the food was disappointing—the hot dishes weren’t served hot enough, and the chicken curry was just two chicken legs in curry sauce with hardly any flavor or seasoning. Considering the high prices in downtown Markham, the quality of the food fell short of expectations.
I had dinner at this restaurant and found the decor to be stunning. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The food was flavorful, but I was disappointed with the chicken dishes (lemongrass chicken stir-fry and green curry) as they contained mostly bones and very little meat. The shrimp spring rolls were delicious, although I would have preferred if the tails had been removed. Overall, the flavors were commendable, but the presentation could use some improvement.

I took my mom to Lanna Cuisine for her birthday, and it was her first experience with Thai food. She absolutely loved it! Every dish was delicious, and we couldn’t stop eating. The portion sizes are generous, and the flavors are fantastic. Our server, Cindy, was incredibly sweet and helpful, enhancing my mom's experience even more. I highly recommend this restaurant for any gathering; the atmosphere is wonderful!
I had a fantastic dining experience at Lanna Thai Cuisine! The dishes were truly authentic and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a delicious delight. Celebrating a birthday dinner with family and friends at Lanna Cuisine was wonderful. We enjoyed delicious dishes from beginning to end. The staff were incredibly attentive to our table throughout the evening. Special thanks to Cindy and the other lovely server (apologies for forgetting her name) for their excellent service. We look forward to returning soon.
The food and service at Lanna Cuisine were quite good, although none of the dishes truly stood out. I really appreciated the restaurant's interior design; the tables were tidy and clean, creating a spacious atmosphere. However, I found the menu to be on the pricier side for Thai food.

Just tried their set lunch which also includes soup salad and drink, a clean and beautiful place, Cindy our server is very attentive and friendly so are other waiters.
The restaurant environment is nice, food decoration is good but the food tastes so so. Can be improved.
