Sadly a very disappointing experience. Thankfully my partners dinner was fine, however, mine was grim. I chose a BBQ chicken breast meal. The first attempt looked like a bowl half full of onion chutney with a small chicken breast covered in something resembling scrambled egg. I tried the chicken but it was unfortunately cold asked for it to be replaced. The replacement was hot and the scrambled egg was more of a sauce, however, the chicken was cremated within a fraction of its life, dry tough. A group of four friends from different areas of the country visited Cheltenham and decided to meet at this restaurant before checking into their accommodation. They arrived at 1.15pm on a sunny day and found the place to be not very busy. They sat outside, but the area was dirty with cigarette butts. The restaurant seemed to be primarily geared towards watching football or rugby matches, and it may be suitable for enjoying a drink in that setting. However, the nachos they ordered were inedible, with a small amount of runny cheese and an overwhelming amount of sour cream. The group wondered why anyone would choose to eat there when there are better dining options nearby.
After previously enjoying a good meal in December, we were disappointed with our experience today at this restaurant. The Mac and Three Cheese dish, while sounding delicious, tasted more like a cheap microwave meal. The first time it was served, it appeared to have been sitting out for a while and had watery residue around the edges. After sending it back, it was returned with the same unappetizing appearance. Additionally, our order of bread and butter was lacking, with only two small dabs of butter barely covering the bread. It is also worth noting that the restaurant still lacks disabled access as the lift remains out of service.
I can't find anything positive to say about this restaurant except for one nice staff member. We met our friends early on a weekday evening and found the food to be substandard, with the Mac and Cheese being greyish and runny. The replacement meal was not much better. We decided to just order drinks, but they were also tasteless and watery. To make matters worse, we discovered a flat tire with a screw in it in the car park, which was littered with screws. It was a disappointing experience overall and we will not be returning.

Came to watch the rugby with friends, great atmosphere for all sporting events. Staff gave a great amount of communication regarding waits on food down to a lot of hungry customers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE 3 PLATES!!! Squid at a pub whilst watching the game who would of thought a pub would serve such a delight!
Great location and fair beer selection. Sadly food took ages to come and was awful (the place was almost empty! , the service was pretty much non-existent. Outside was great, inside needed a good pile of investment. The place is being left behind in a competitive market. Shame
decent beers, great food and super dog friendly, met up with mates to watch the footie loved the atmosphere, we’ll be back soon
Bartender will charge you twice for the same drink and argue that the first payment hadn't gone through when it clearly had.

Avoid the meat pie. Sick to deliver. Just grissle. Staff friendly and the rest ok. Not too busy at 7pm.
Food took over an hour to come, don’t recommend. No warning of long wait for food either. Don’t visit
