My partner and I stayed in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue for three nights at the end of a walking holiday and ate here on two out of three evenings! I had picked out L'Aparte from the Trip Advisor list of restaurants in the town as it looked interesting and likely to meet our needs - and it had the added advantage of only being minutes away from our hotel! Don't be put off by the rather unprepossessing exterior which from the road looks like some kind of cabin on the front of the building (just as in the photo). This restaurant was recommended by a local and we loved it. Bookings are essential and it is a fixed price menu for 22 euros. Great value and there is a good choice of local wines at a reasonable price. I loved my cold mussels with a legume sauce and a pastilla with guinea fowl and a salad.My husband enjoyed his fig salad and our friends said that the desserts were delicious. The food is produced with love and care and now that we have returned from our holiday in France I remember this as one of our better meals. Recommended.
We try to have dinner at L'Aparte every visit to L'Isle. The food is consistently good and the staff friendly. This has become a popular restaurant and reservations are nearly always in order. I have had the magret de canard on my last two visits - excellent each time. This is a great part of France for fresh produce and the dishes include vegetables and fruits of the season. The wine list offers nice variety and is reasonably priced.
We visit this restaurant every time we come to the L'isle. This was our first time eating inside and we really enjoyed it. As usual the food is excellent, the service is very good and the ambiance is absolutely lovely. Its a must for us...every year to come here and once again they surpassed our expectations. Can't wait until next time, although I should order something different I usually go for the foie gras and the ravioli.

Our dinner last Saturday failed to live up to our previous, excellent experience, and we quickly discovered the restaurant has very recently changed management, and although the new, younger owners were really lovely enthusiastic, the quality of the food and the overall experience didn't...quite make up for the very high level of the past. Hopefully, with time they will get there.
there is a variety of restaurant along the rivers in the city, but this stood as popular with locals and had some charms. the dinner offer was for 2 or 3 courses (c.€28 for 3.) good wine and drink list. friendly service and delicious food. all French cuisine but with some creative ideas and very tasty.
I visit this restaurant at least once a year. Food is excellent and the ambience is cozy and comfortable. Good service though restaurant was full and they were a bit stressed.Menu is changed constantly depending on what is fresh in the market. Highly recommended.
spacious terrace along the river sorgue. very busy on a Saturday night. my main course (fish) could not be eaten as dreadfully overcooked. it must be said that my 3 partners found their court ok. it remains to my opinion after a twelf in a...duzen messingerie

Lovely setting along the river. Very friendly staff. Dogs are welcome. Lovely food for really good price: First course, main one and desert for only 16€! You can choose to have 2 courses only for 14€.
