L'Appart - Reservar una mesa

It was pure coincidence that my wife and I went to L'Appart yesterday. We stumbled upon it because we chose Vittel as our stopover on the way back from South France, and L'Appart was much recommended here on Tripadvisor. Our expectations were quite high, but they were exceeded on every level. The restaurant is tiny and warmly decorated. We were warmly welcomed by the Maitre'd, Terry, who made us feel like dining at a friend's place. This is the second or maybe the third time I have eaten at L'Appart. The food is so good I have gone out of my way to schedule a stopover at the excellent local Mercuré Hotel, just so I can eat in this little haven of gastronomic excellence. The visit is always an education in how to cook local produce and without exception everything I've had on the menu has always been scrumptious. Not only is the food wonderful but the welcome I have always received from the urbane and charming Thierry, (whose exceptional front-of-house delivery perfectly complement the food) makes me feel that I am visiting friends. Wasn't planning on stopping in Vittel, but decided to stop over on the way back from the Provence. So so glad we did. We eat out a couple or three times a month and expect good service and food. At L'Appart everything from the welcome, service and most of the food was well above our expectations.This quality of food normally only comes in small portions on big plates. I'm a big eater and did not go home hungry. Thanks again to the guys for a wonderful experience and hopefully see you again soon. Booking is advisable.

First you need to make a reservation, or, for dinner, be there around 7.15pm Second, make sure you're not later than 7:45pm. There is only one service starting at 7:45pm. Once you agree with this original service, you will not regret. The owner and the cook, the only persons serving you, will warmly welcome you, present the menu and advise you. The food is delicious and the recommended wine perfect. A very pleasant and memorable evening, after a spa at Vittel Thermes.

Again such a welcome, unbelievable service, food and drink. Big thank you to you both for making our visit so special. Best to book a table especially for Thursday - Friday evenings. Be on time opens at around 19:15, service begins at 19:45. Weekly menu, but you have a wonderful choice between 2-3 starters, 2 mains and 3-4 desserts. Thanks again Chris
