In all my travels around France I have never eaten better than I have at this restaurant. Set in an area of new houses this ultra-modern building houses the restaurant and a few letting bedrooms. The design of the restaurant is very pleasing and the...decor simple but effective. My wife and I went for a Thursday lunch towards the end of August with another couple. Always a pleasure to go to l’Aquarelle. The Chef has that talent to create savors from local products fish, mussels, crabs, langoustines, shrimps, lobster etc... and of course some meat that let you travel without moving. Its tasty, yummy, well presented with a super...service. The view on the fields is peaceful, service is great and professional with Aurelie the wife of the Chef at the helm. This restaurant certainly qualifies as a hidden gem. The cooking is inspirational and incorporates some of the best flavours one could find anywhere. The highly original amuse bouches are followed by dishes enhanced by the subtle use of unusual herbs or spices. Nothing is overdone...and the presentation is well thought through. The service is of equally high standard and a glimpse of the sparkling kitchen confirms the sheer professionalism of the owners .

Had a lot of restaurants to choose from but we wanted mussels and paella. So we picked this one. Very pleasant staff and excellent people watching. Both the mussels and paella were outstanding. But the house wine was not so good. Good menu with a...lot to choose from.
