What a shocking meal. The food was absolutely terrible poor quality made by a chef who obviously doesn 't know how to cook basic food. The only passable dish we had as a table of 4 was the plate of charcuterie which needed no cooking but even this was let down by the awful tasteless bread. Starters of red mullet was 3 pieces of raw fish still with the skin on buried in a small plate of salad. Salad of Chèvre chaud croustillant was burnt. Main courses of filet de dorade was in fact red mullet which was half raw sitting on top of what seemed to be everything the 'chef ' could possibly find in the kitchen some sort of semoule purée, carrots, peas, red yellow pepper pomegranate seeds. This restaurant is situated close to the market in Lle Rousse had looked busy when we passed by so decided to try it one evening. Not our best decision, my husband had Moules Frites although the mussels were ok the frites appeared to be frozen oven ones very dry! Not really acceptable given the price charged. My fish dish was ok but nowhere near as good as I had eaten in other restaurants. Not one to return to.
We very much enjoyed dinner in this restaurant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a very nice Corsican Menue with fish as the main course and a sweet cheese desert (Filadone). We had a very nice local white wine with the menue. We can only recommend this place in the Old Town of Ile-Rousse.
We ate very well, staff is high, prices are reasonable. On the other hand, the payment is only made in cash with the boss who does not hide to put the money in his pocket (for the receipt we will go) and who reminds us to put a review on his restaurant! That's it.

Nice restaurant with excellent food and service. During our stay we had our dinner there times, and all dinners were delicious, well cooked.
