This is a perfect restaurant to come to when you are hungry! : The heart warming Alsatian food will pass muster with everyone, and the bill won't leave a bad taste in your mouth either. I've been in Strasbourg for 4 months now, and the tartes...flambees are definitely by far the best I have had anywhere, and they do arrive very quickly. For the main course, the portions are huge, and really delicious. Amongst us 4 we had very unusual spaetzle, a wild boar stew, a roast duck it was all amazing. Consider whether you want a starter or dessert it would be very difficult to find space for both! We visited the Lard et Crème for dinner at the beginning of September and enjoyed the food, service and overall experience. We got great recommendations from our waiter to try out local dishes that they really made for us. It is a very local place... outside the main tourist area of Strasbourg. We were the only tourists in the restaurant with our special French Canadian accent... we were very well received. If you want to go and do not have a car, just take the tram or bus it is quite easy to reach.

Beautiful experience!!! From the quality of the service, to the quality of the kitchen products, everything is perfect. The waitress and waitresses are very pleasant, smiling and professional, with 20 good visits to this restaurant, I have not yet been disappointed. A big thank you to the whole team for professionalism and their reception.

The Alsatian gastronomy is in the spotlight in this restaurant. Cuisine generous and gourmet. Efficient and fast service, warm welcome. A beautiful, good and comfortable home-made kitchen with good products. Only a small dish, a waitress who doesn't know the map and a very low whisky offer. Big MORE, toilets with impeccable cleanliness, we'd eat

Clearly a quality Alsatian restaurant compared to much found in Strasbourg. The kitchen is delicious, homemade and brought by a pleasant and human team. The specialities of the region are very well represented.

Delicious thin and crispy flame cue, big bouchée à la pure, and very tasty spaetzle! Service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and very Alsatian.
