I had an excellent experience at this Portuguese restaurant. The egg drops and garlic soup were fantastic! My wife has some dietary restrictions, and they kindly prepared her grilled chicken from the menu, which she loved. I ordered the Junior Paella, and it was great—generous portions with plenty of seafood. The white sangria was very enjoyable as well. We tried the Portuguese bread, which I believe is called folar, and it had chorizo sausage in the middle—an exciting first for us. Our waiter, Quartin, was friendly and incredibly helpful. The owner even came out to check on us and see how everything was. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that made for a memorable evening.

Absolutely amazing! This was some of the best food I’ve had in Mineola. My wife and I visited to celebrate our IVF journey, and the owner, Pedro, took the time to chat with us about our celebration. He was incredibly kind. I would return just to support his restaurant. As for the food, it was outstanding! We tried the cognac shrimp, which was delicious. I ordered the whole branzino, while my wife enjoyed the duck, which was the highlight of our meal. Everything was simply excellent. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Pedro!

I dined in for dinner and was impressed. The price per person was around $20–30, which is reasonable given the quality. Both the food and service received a perfect 5 stars from me, and the atmosphere was equally enjoyable. I highly recommend trying the Chourico; it’s a standout dish. Great tasting portuguese food and wine.
