While on my way to Canada's Vimy Ridge Memorial celebrations, I stopped off in Loos-en-Gohelle to try and find 'Hill 70' where many Canadians lost their lives in WWI on the outskirts of Lens and where 6 Victoria Crosses were awarded. I stopped off at L'Artiste for coffee and dessert. All-round lovely and emotional experience.

amazing eating and wein. huh with pasta and monkfish with vegetables from the special boards. if they do not speak French, make sure they have a translation guide. we were very satisfied with our choice, very reasonable two people with wein and bee around £28....Definately recommend this place.
