Las Chinampas - Reserva de mesa

The Mexican food of my soul. I love coming here for something good, delicious, and Mexican. Las Chinampas worked with me on a breakfast plate once... tres tacos de carne asada with an egg over easy on top of each taco. Hands down the best Mexican breakfast l've ever had. The chilaquiles are awesome, and the tacos de papa are on point. I haven't tried their caldos or pozoles, but l've only been told good things about them. The first place I think of to eat Mexican food in LA is Las Chinampas. It's restaurant quality with a home-made touch. King Taco is King Taco, but Las Chinampas takes the crown.

Excellent food and service. I ate there twice during my recent visit and both times I really enjoyed my meals. The carne asada burrito was a good size and the ingredients were super tasty. They didn’t skimp on the meat either. Second time I had the chilaquiles and they were even better! What made it better was the service. Very friendly and attentive. This is what makes the difference. There’s no shortage of great Mexican food in So Cal, but when you back it up with great service it makes you want to return.

First time at this restaurant and it was a great experience. The Menudo, the chilaquiles, pressed chicharrón gordita, eggs with sausage... the coffee... everything was excellent... the prices are fair... the flavor was delicious... I will have to come back to try the pambasos and the mole... the staff very friendly , the place clean, everything good. We will definitely return.

I ordered One Fish taco and One shrimp taco, yummy really good, and the Rompope water. Plus great service. I will be coming here more often.
