We dropped in to the restaurant without a reservation on a Sunday lunchtime, and the place was heaving. We did manage to get a table, but the service generally reflected the fact that the staff were run off their feet. We wanted to eat a rice dish, but were told that they needed 24 hours notice to prepare this. We were left with the usual Andalusian fare of fried fish, although what we did eat was fresh and well cooked. We were intrigued by a dish called calamares de tierra land squid) which turned out to be fried onions and aubergine, very tasty. Generally a good experience and would like to go aback to try the rice dishes sometime.
No ha habido una revisión por un par de años, pero este es un lugar muy popular especialmente entre las familias españolas. Tuvimos unas buenas almejas y ensaladas para empezar, luego un excelente rodaballo, filete de corvina y pulpo. Después de los entrantes nos dieron un plato de langostinos de cortesía. Todos los platos estaban bien presentados y sabrosos. Luego nos dieron otro plato de pasteles y postres de cortesía. Muy generoso. El restaurante es grande con áreas de comer tanto en interiores como en exteriores. Se llenó de gente los domingos a partir de las 3pm, así que los británicos pueden comer más temprano.
We ate at the Las Dunas in July 2013. We entered the restaurant at about 8.30PM and were the only people eating in the place on a Wednesday night. The service was horrendously slow. My wife ordered the Corvina which was served with sautéed potatoes and of all things in Spain, frozen veg. The portion was quite large, however you pay by the gram. The fish was fresh and nicely cooked. My grilled chicken breast was ok but came with freshly cut fries which were good. Other than the lack of service the meal was fine but the place is quite large and when no one else is dining it has no atmosphere.
Hemos estado visitando este restaurante muchas veces en los últimos 15 años, y los propietarios manejan un restaurante excelente. La comida y los precios son excelentes. Nuestro único comentario es que le falta ambiente y durante las noches deberían empezar a llenar la parte delantera del restaurante primero, especialmente durante los meses más tranquilos.

We have visited this restaurant during our family vacation. For kids the restaurant is great as there are nice playing ground outside. The service was good. The meal was average. I have ordered grilled tuna and the fish was very dry and too much grilled. The other meals were ok. We received a very nice plate of great desserts as a present from the kitchen.
El sitio es muy agradable rodeado de naturaleza y con facilidad para aparcar. La comida muy buena, pedimos varias cosas porque todo nos llamaba la atención, y todo estaba muy rico. Tienen detalles ya que nos invitaron a una ensalada y a un postre muy bueno. El servicio atento y rápido. El precio está bien.Repetiríamos si volviésemos a ir.
He estado allí dos veces durante mis vacaciones de agosto. Probé los mariscos (excelentes y a un precio excelente [10 euros]), el arroz a 20 euros para dos personas... Nos ofrecieron una ensalada y postres gratis. El total fue de unos 30 euros, todo incluido, terminando completamente lleno. Realmente recomendado.
todo genial, como siempre. Normalmente vamos con la familia muy a menudo. Siempre éramos excepcionales y muy amigables. Estábamos el viernes por la tarde, era tarde y nos trataron sin problemas. Hoy El domingo regresamos con toda la familia.

Huge restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect for families but a bit warehouse feeling because of size and very bright lighting. Food ok but nothing fantastic. Staff not very friendly but it is good value.
