Las Morenitas - Reserva de mesa

I live in Kemah and I will never make it to my hometown of Pasadena. I sell a block away from Las Morenitas and thought I would check it for lunch... it is almost impossible to find a Mexican restaurant that resembles all Fideo soup in Kemah, so I ordered the children's plate of the alphabet soup. It had a side of cheese and I used my fiances avacado and lime to cover it. It was so good and so a big portion for a children's plate I was filled... My fiance ordered the grilled seasoned chicken with rice and beans and he said it was delicious. I noticed a dish on the menu I had never heard of before called Aporreado. It is mixed with eggs Manchaca (dried beef) and with a very soup 'Special ' Ch...

We had a very sharp waitress. She takes care of her clients very well. The food is well prepared and has an excellent presentation. The place is immaculate. A family atmosphere is predominant. L:o)u

We always enjoy coming to this restaurant because the food and service are outstanding. However, we think the numerous photos on the wall come off as a bit cheesy.

1st time being there, great food ordered Nopales with eggs and beans, pleasantly surprise that they had real Nopales home made tortillas yummy
