Las Postas - Reservar una mesa

This restaurant is beside the Repsol gas station on the road just outside Laguardia. It has a simple fixed priced menu for lunch during weekdays that includes a starter, main, pastry, water and wine for €11.50. It is simple homey food like roasted chicken and grilled steaks. It’s frequented by working folks. It’s great value if you’re craving something simple. We stayed at the Sercotel Hotel across the street so it was an easy hop over for lunch. They may have a different menu and times on the weekend but it was quite difficult to figure out as our Spanish was not sufficient.

As a workers restaurant las postas excels. Very simple preparations and generous portions served efficiently. But don’t come here for warm service (especially if you do not speak Spanish). 25€ got us a quarter roasted chicken (delicious) and a churrasco (tasty but not much meat). Plus two big salads, water, wine, coffee and desert! If you are tired of Pintxos this provides a great little break.
