"Getting used to restaurants not opening until 9pm is strange, but it was worth waiting for. The atmosphere was great despite them not speaking English and us not speaking Spanish, they made us very welcome and did everything they could to help understand! The food choices were excellent and the freshness of everything made it all so tasty. Wholeheartedly recommended."

We ate here on 16 th Feb 2019. Best restaurant experience we had in four weeks of travel in Spain. The clientele was mainly local and we don't speak spanish and the staff didn't speak english, but we communicated just fine. Nothing was too much for these guys. We ordered salads for starters and fish and meat mains. The owner who was also waiting on us indicated that we were ordering too much.. He came up with an alternative tuna tapas and a pimiento salad tapas and gave us instructions how to combine the two on toast Saved us 11 Euro on the starter. He chose marinated slow cooked pork for my wife and the thickest fillet of fish I've ever seen for me. Followed with a couple of super desserts....

Went for Saturday lunch soon after it opened. Initially it seemed very good although fully booked they made a table for us. We ordered starters and mains. We had only just started the first course when the mains arrived. We asked for them to wait and then they came back a second time whilst we were still eating. Third time they came back cold. When the manager asked if everything was OK we were honest. He lost his temper and called my wife uneducated. Food may have been good but service was literally “all mouth and trousers” so ruined everything.

We tried to get in for lunch but they were booked so we reserved for dinner. We were glad we did. They didn't have what we wanted to order but suggested Corvina (a la plancha and also with a very interesting red sauce- which I don't normally order) Both were excellent as well as the great tomato salad in an origanal sauce dressing named after the hostess. They are justifiably proud of their food and service. Grateful to have us despite being full. The tortillas de camaron wre the best be had in Andalusia.
