Dishonest tip billing method detracts from an outstanding dining experience. Food and service were excellent, the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. It deserves a 5-star rating, if it wasn 't for the way they present the check to customers. A Service Charge of 18% is included below the sales tax line subtotal and added to the total, which would be okay if it wasn 't for what follows below. At the bottom, the customer is presented with a list of suggested tips in percentages and amounts, followed by a line to enter the TIP and another line to enter the total. Las tapas de Rosa serves up authentically prepared dishes from Spain. The restaurant is casual and comfortable with relics and pictures from Spain. The staff is very helpful and friendly, but I do recommend you brush up on your Spanish or have google translate on your phone. But don’t worry, the entire menu is also translated to English so you will not have a problem ordering. Adjacent to the dining room you can purchase various imported foods and wines from Spain. Gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp) were satisfyingly fresh and flavorful. The Spanish omelette was delicious and the croquette sampler offers a variety of flavors so you can try different ones.
The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and a great vibe. The servers were friendly and helpful, and they were quick at first. However, after serving our meals, it took a long time for them to bring the to-go order I requested at the beginning and the check. Nonetheless, their friendliness more than makes up for it! The sangria was just okay, but the bread was warm and crispy. The tortilla española was very good, and the croquettes (bacalao, ham, and cheese) were delicious. The oxtail was excellent as well. The small fish topped with fried eggs were good; the idea is nice, but they were quite oily.
I absolutely love the food, the service, the cozy atmosphere, the prices, and the location! The moment I walk into Las Tapas de Rosa, I feel welcomed, and that’s essential for me when dining out. It’s hard to find great family-owned restaurants, so I’m grateful I don’t have to search anymore! A+ from a future teacher!

"A hidden gem" is what we like to call this place. I've visited a few times, and I'm sure I have more pictures to share. The food and service never fail to impress me. Everything is absolutely delicious, and you won’t be disappointed. I can't wait to return!
If you ever visit this restaurant (and you should), ask for Silke, the best waitress you can have. All the tapas are delicious and the black rice is specially good. If you have a sweet tooth, you should try the fig cake.Food: 5/5
A festive explosion of flavors is in store for you! The tapas were a true delight, particularly the patatas bravas and the juicy chorizo. The atmosphere was vibrant, the sangria was excellent, and the staff were very friendly.
The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the seafood paella and the meat paella. The servers were kind,helpful, and efficient. Easy kick back atmosphere that’s worth more than the price. I would pay double. Thank you
