The restaurant came highly recommended by many people. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make the birthday celebration special, surprising the birthday boy with a large sombrero and a cheerful rendition of "Happy Birthday." However, the food didn’t quite meet our expectations. The tamales were a bit tough, as they needed another minute or two in the steamer. The hot plate fajitas smelled great, but the meat was tough. The enchiladas were decent, but the sauce had started to form a gel-like film, likely due to being under the warmer for too long. Overall, it wasn’t a standout experience.
I frequent this really tasty restaurant. They have the best chips, salsa, and bean dip that I've had at any Mexican restaurant in Contra Costa. Same for the margarita...it's amazing! People are always shocked when they have those items, and that's before ordering food from the menu! I usually have the chicken taquitos or the crunchy chicken tacos, which me satisfied every single time. The crew is really nice and friendly. Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants to visit.
Great food and atmosphere. Waiters and other staff were friendly and professional. The food was served quickly. The waiter heard my father and brought him a coke instead of coffee, but no big deal, people make mistakes. He brought the coffee out right away. There was a guitar playing skeleton. I suppose for Halloween decoration. It added the positive experience.
Having grown up in Mexico, the flavors are authentic. The food is very fresh and the tastes wonderful. I will be back for sure. Oh, you can bring your pooch if sitting outside! They will even bring water for our furry friends

My wife stops by this place to pick up dinner while she's at the hair salon. The burritos here are top-notch, made with fresh ingredients and absolutely delicious. I love it when she brings them home.

My group of 8 was promptly seated when we arrived at the restaurant. Our waiter was courteous and understanding, even though he had to deal with a group of easily distracted individuals.
I always have a great time at this restaurant. The bean dip has been consistently delicious for over 15 years. The drinks are flavorful and potent. And the customer service is top-notch.
