L'Atelier de La Fontaine

Having read all the rave reviews and listened to a number of friends extolling the wonders of this place, I was really looking forward to my first visit which was a set lunch with a group of friends. Maybe it's me but I found the...food to be pretty average...tasty and home made and all that but really nothing to get me hooked on the place and trying to book again weeks ahead because of it's popularity ! The set lunch is good value at just under 15 euros and the menu choice is limited understandably due the small number of tables....it reminded me of a number of similar French eateries offering home made fare and served by the owners...these sort of places are getting rarer it is fair to say...

Am amazing experience. Small restaurant with outside hearing for Summer and lovely inside area for winter. We were here last night and our was exquisite. Lovely friendly service. Well priced. Small but fresh menu with enough choice for all. Magret was awesome. I feel elated...to arrive and sad to leave. I gather they do a really good lunch for a modest price. Combine this with a walk round the village and surrounding countryside. Hope to see you again and thanks for such a fantastic and enjoyable evening with friends and family

This is the most charming restaurant.Set in the woods behind the village wood yard; it's best to park at the wood yard and walk the short distance as there is almost no space to park by the restaurant.Having parked the car you will enter the...most delightful place you are likely to find.The atmosphere outside is rustic but if you take a look at the kitchen you know you are being served good freshly prepared food by a couple who know what they are doing.Go with an appetite and leave with a wonderful memory.

it is a long way from dubai to goujounac, but our evening in L’Atelier de la fontaine was made so rewarding. service could no longer be sociable and a simply excellent 3 curs menu. Delicious local products, generous portions beautifully presented and such aromen! gluten. and lactose intolerances perfectly treated. meals with friends and families are not better than that. but in fact, it no longer needs to be very welcome from the same. we returned to L’Atelier de la fontaine to celebrate the 19th birthday of our sohne. we all love good eating so imagine my joy when my wife said that her meal of tuna brochette, back of cod, apricot tart was “the best ever”, then “OMG i. wants to eat here every night!” every meal in L’Atelier is a winner and I love it remains a underestimated, hidden gem.

I hardly dare share this little gem for fear of not being able to book a table in the future, it is becoming very popular. We took friends there this week and had to choose 3 dates before we were able to go there, but...it was well worth it. We have eaten in many local restaurants in the last 13 years but this is our favourite.

Another remarkable visit to our favourite restaurant. A warm welcome from Jocelyn. Sumptuous menu, all organic and locally sourced. Great value. Lovely decorations and atmosphere. Food was quite simply exquisite and tantalised the taste buds. A great way to spend our last evening this Christmas...holiday. Many thanks

Was a complete surprise, lovely food, good choices, good service cannot fault it. We had the house wine which was lovely.
