L'atelier Olivier Arlot

We were on the move in Vouvray during low season at the end of November 2018 as a group of friends. We had trouble finding a restaurant during the week and we wanted to have an excellent meal on Thanksgiving evening. Our BnB hostess at Domaine des Bidaudieres has recommended this restaurant. We made reservations, but they were not full. We called and asked if we could bring a wine we had bought at a wine tasting because we were on a plane the next day and had to drink the bottle. Very good time with the family this Tuesday evening. We had a great meal at L’atelier Olivier Arlot. We originally turned up at lunchtime without a reservation and they were fully booked. We rang and made a booking for dinner the next day and were very glad we did. The service was very good, the staff were very busy as was a Saturday night (but explained the menu well in English), the food was very creative and the various tastes worked very well. One of the highlights of our trip to France. Definitely a great restaurant and worth the trip out of town.
