I shared this little gem of a restaurant with my son and cousin. We each tried a fun soda choice, tamarind, mango, and guava. All were good but I really liked the mango. I had a beef chimichanga and there are so many flavours layered in this wonderful fresh tasting wrap-like entrée, served with rice. I can't wait to go back. My cousin tried the pulled pork tacos and raved about them throughout the meal. My son tried the chorizo chimichanga and was hooked by the first bite. A local pointed us in the direction of Latinoamerica Unida, and we weren't disappointed. Charming, small place, bright and clean, with remarkably good molé, redolent of cinnamon and chocolate, thick and rich. We enjoyed chicken enchiladas with molé and beef enchiladas with red sauce, a side of deeply flavored salsa, and a Margarita. On a Saturday night the place was full of families and couples, and the family that runs the place was welcoming and helpful. Satisfying, pleasant, unusually good.

An ex gf introduced me to this place a couple years ago, and I remember the food being really good and authentic... a buddy said he really wanted tacos and I don't know where in Guelph to get any good ones, so it became a Bro-adtrip. After ordering, tacos came about 5 mins later and hot!I may have bitten off more than I can chew. Nah, I destroyed it. I also tried their authentic Mexican cervesa Modelo and that was quite good, too.I always enjoy coming back here.

I don't even know where to start. This place is a hidden treasure that I found purely by chance. Everything is fresh ingredients, homemade from scratch food. The guacamole is to die for. I almost didn't want to do a review because I don't want anyone else to find this place. The food and atmosphere cannot be described - you need to see and try it to believe it. I am not sure why everyone is raving about this place. I tried the chicken fajitas for $16.95 and they were fine..... a little dry that maybe some salsa would fix. The portion of 3 shells was ok but not impressive for the price. I thought the service was friendly and quick but I was expecting a little more after reading the reviews.

No frills, but feels like home. The family that runs this place are so incredibly friendly and always make you feel welcome and special. Hands down, the best Mexican food around - in fact I am pretty sure I have to hit the southern US before I get something as good.I am and will continue to be a repeat customer.

I stopped in today for lunch while my car was getting worked on. The food (Chorizo Chimichanga) was excellent. Hot, fresh, and flavourful. Definitely a place that you should try! Reserva una mesa ahora

Always enjoyable to visit this place and say hello to the friendly owners. I often have a cold Mexican beer while I wait for my food (usually the spicy chicken burrito).
