Latour-marliac-cafe Marliacea

Every year since 2015, at the beginning of July (covid excluded) we have visited Latour Marliac and enjoyed a delicious lunch overlooking the lily ponds. On a couple of occasions we were one of only two tables at the restaurant and have never had to wait for a table or to book. This year however we arrived and a lady called across to us asking if we had a reservation as they were fully booked. I think she may have said that a table might be available at 1.30 but she never came close enough to have a conversation. We were really disappointed and actually felt that we were nuisances for arriving without a reservation. Sadly I doubt we will return but if you have never visited, the gardens are...

We took a break in the garden of the nenuphars, it was a feast and a pleasure. The waiter was very nice and even offered us a coffee to wait because only on the terrace that day. I highly recommend the carrot cake and their lemonade! A pleasure! the cheese tray of the region was also a nice gustative surprise! Thank you.

A unique place for its serenity and aesthetics of the place. Moment unforgettable with an intense visual and olfactory dive in the midst of exceptionally beautiful aquatic plants some of which are on sale. A fabulous experience to discover. I strongly recommend.

Rude female owner couldn’t even bother to come over to the table. Had to shout across no tables free till 3.30 Guess what we won’t be coming back. We have been here over several years and you have lost our custom Reserva una mesa ahora

Small but delicious menu. A perfect burger with salad, local cheese and the best chips ever. Salade Garonnaise was fabulous. All served at a shaded table overlooking a lake with water lilies. Perfect.

good reception and very useful and listening to our requests and good advice. we will return in April to get the rest of our order and visit the garden at its opening

Beautiful park around the nenuphar. Unfortunately the time was less of the game. This leaves less impression on color rendering.
