Four of us went for hot drinks after a walk around the town, ordered 2 latte’s and Americano and a tea after sitting at a table for at least 10 mins being ignored, staff wandering around not clearing tables, avoiding eye contact… we ordered and waited, drinks arrived in a strange order but were okay. Latte’s come with a lotus biscuit but nothing for tea or americano. whilst we drank a couple came in and asked to order they were abruptly told to sit outside or order a take away as there were no tables free, they duly did this and waited, they then came back in as a dirty table became available because after 10 minutes approx nobody had been to take their order but were totally ignored until t...
Now, onto the not-so-good parts. There was a couple in the cafe who complained about a dirty fork. I can't say for sure if the fork was dirty or not, but the staff member who handled the situation seemed a bit short with the customer. The fork was cleaned and returned, and the issue seemed to be resolved. However, after the couple left, the staff member (who was on break at a table in the cafe) proceeded to complain about the interaction with the customer in front of other patrons. This seemed unprofessional to me, as staff grievances should be addressed behind the scenes, not in front of customers.
Overall, the cafe seems to have a good amount of local support and custom, which is positive...
I booked this restaurant for my cousin's birthday and it did not disappoint. They had a very fresh selection of sandwiches, beautiful orange and cranberry scones, and a great variety of cakes. The service was impeccable, with the young men serving as a credit to the establishment. We highly recommend this place and applaud Latte Da for maintaining their high standards since they first opened.
Met a friend for and our visit was very disappointing.,When we arrived we were told to sit down as I had booked a table. We were then ignored for about 15 minutes and no one checked we were ok or made eye contact. When we finally got to order we waited a fair while. We were going to stay and have coke but again being totally ignored decided to pay and leave. Would definitely not recommend

Stopped in Tarporley whilst driving through the area and looked for a coffee shop along the high street. Although there were seats outdoors, we opted to sit indoors where it was air conditioned to escape the middle of the day heat. The owner came over and with a friendly greeting handed us the menus. We couldn't resist the cakes on offer and they were washed down with nice hot drinks.
We stopped by for coffee after exploring the village and found it quite pleasant. We opted to sit outside under a canopy and enjoyed the good coffee in a nice atmosphere. The display of cakes was tempting, but we decided to pass on them. Overall, we had a good experience and would definitely come back again.
This was our second time here as we remembered the food from last year. Cannot fault our lunch, sandwich and a salad, it was delicious, really tasty. My other half said it was definitely worth the wait, I'm not so sure as the wait was excessive for a sandwich and a salad.
Latte Da welcomed 14 cyclists on a charity ride, and were very flexible and accommodating! Thank you very much! It has a nice outdoor space at the front which was ideal for watching the bikes, the passers-by and the wedding opposite!

The Stilton, bacon and mushroom toasty was tremendous! Lovely friendly service and heated outdoor seating.
First class Afternoon Tea very sandwiches cakes riendly staff beautifull setting well worth a visit!
