We stumbled across this travelling to Berze Le Chalet and we are so glad we did! Sylvie was the most welcoming host and was really helpful in working around my gluten allergy. We had a local speciality sausage in Beaujolais sauce and it was delicious! I did ask her to double check the sausage and reduction didn’t have wheat flour she smiled and said “I asked the chef and he said “If you have to put flour in your sausage and sauce you’re not making it right”! We shared just one small plate of cheese for dessert but still she took great care to find out what type of cheese we would like. It was a wonderful meal and experience and we would love to go back. Charming little inn in a typical village of Mâconnais with its stone houses, a step from the church and two from the house where the poet Lamartine lived. Very good products, very well worked, for a quality bistronomic cuisine, between terroir and innovation. Very good reception, excellent advice from the chef regarding wine.
Really an excellent address in the heart of the village, in a very nice setting. well cooked dishes, a map that changes regularly, a proposal of very varied wines at reasonable prices, impeccable service and excellent advice. A very good welcome. I really recommend this little restaurant.
Restaurant bistronomic style very pleasant, in a small village typical of the Mâconnais. A fine and refined cuisine with a very beautiful presentation and good advice from the chef for the choice of wine.

Little pepit on our way back from the Alps. The Burgundy bistro type cuisine is of quality, everything is homemade, with a beautiful selection of wines. The welcome is attentive, I strongly recommend!
We stopped for a light lunch and were very well looked after by the charming hostess. We could tell that it was good because of the number of locals who dropped in for a bite to eat
Very good restaurant close to the birthplace of Alphonse Lamartine. I especially recommend the jacquoulot cup for dessert and homemade cocktail. Very welcoming and friendly staff!
Always a pleasure to visit the Auberge de Jack. The warm welcome and and ambience. Excellent menu on offer and wine list carefully selected. A family favourite !
