We booked a room on 13/01 for one night in the hotel de la Mère Poulard. Our reservation was a modern room with two beds. Arrival at the hotel, first disappointment, the room is the opposite of what we reserved. Spiders, bedbugs and ladybugs were numerous in the room as well as curtains that were impossible to close and therefore a continuous light all night. Despite numerous reminders, no response from the manager. For a three-star hotel, it was not a relaxing night at all with a price that did not correspond to the quality of the room reserved. I think that customer satisfaction is not their priority, it's a shame for a site like this.
My companion absolutely wanted to taste the mother hen's omelette. We came away really disappointed, especially for the price we paid. Truffle omelette omelette covered with truffle shavings) priced at 45 euros.. I love truffle but then... it was too much!! Really disgusting, I couldn't even finish my plate. Moreover, without the truffle, the omelette has virtually no taste!! This does not reflect French gastronomy at all, it is clearly a tourist trap.. Total for 2 omelettes, 2 glasses of wine and 2 scoops of ice cream 120 euros. The only positive point was the kindness of the servers.
