This is a down to earth restaurant, incorporating the local 'tabac ' for this impressive southern Beaujolais village, and clearly one of the main hubs of local life. I ate on the terrace next to the mairie/chateau, and enjoyed a very good value four course 14 euro set lunch, along with 50cl of rose wine and a glass of red to go with the cheese course, ending with a coffee: 20 euros in total. My starter of cheese in pastry with salad was tasty, as was the pork cutlet in mustard sauce. Not perfection my green beans were a bit overcooked and the fruit salad had been in the fridge all day no doubt but decent, honest fare. Service was brisk, efficient and friendly. I would go again, and recommend...

Tout était tres bon, de l'entrée au dessert pour un prix très raisonnable. En plus, avec un service tres agréable. On n'y retournera avec plaisir.

I stopped by for coffee, there was coffee. Good old-fashioned atmosphere, the toilets are clean and credit card from 10€.
