A dinner between girls in the middle of nowhere on 26/08/22 for my mother's birthday. A breathtaking view of the Auvergne volcanoes. The kitchen is at the height of our taste buds, a beautiful discovery of dishes revisited with taste. The peas, the chicken marinated with honey, lemon and thyme, a slaughter and its rice Hum! The ultra-local cheese tray, we're not doing better. As for the shocking iron in Ouh the one ends the meal in beauty. Very good food, everything was perfect. Super pretty bosses with special mention for Chef Single menu 22€/pers incredible value for money I recommend this place that deserves to be known

During our hike around the Cantal Mountains, we met hikers who praised the quality of the meals at the Auberge du Fau. This reputation is not usurped because we have a lot to appreciate the quality and originality of the kitchen. The framework and reception are in the same order. The refuge with two large dormitories is an irreproachable cleanliness and benefits from all amenities We recommend this address to all hikers and to all those who love the authenticity and beauty of small mountain villages.

4th day of the gr400, good entry in matter as soon as you arrive in the village with sign clin d'oeil! warm welcome, nice welcoming entrance on the street and the rest is only better: panoramic terrace behind, with an exceptional view! The meal was just as high, with spices and dishes that change the truffle. Welcome to vegetarians! 100% recommended for hikers but not this:

Due to its location, this inn is a swelling for hikers who travel through the rolling stock. The welcome is of great kindness and very helpful. The kitchen is refined and original. All at a sweet price. Really a good step on the way!

Excellent address. The best cantal beers. The new managers have modernized the restaurant with delicious cuisine. Good service. The hostel will always win in attraction when the accommodation will be restored in turn.
