we stayed at this place for a quick lunch just arrived in the city. The room is aesthetically pleasant, with outdoor coloured tables. place that the restaurant was not full, the wait before we were cleaned the table and we could order was infinite, followed by ironic comments shared between the adventurous and table neighbors with theme "the Italians do not know the French." aside from the fact that the phrase could be reversed there seemed very bad goto. the courses were not evil of for itself, slice of bread with ham, salad of tomatoes, fried calamaretti, with a sangria, all at an acceptable quality. acceptable instead it was not the account: 3 shared dishes (tapas), a sangria and a small...
Most important for me in a dining experience is ambiance. This outdoor cafe set in an intimate French square in Apt complete with Plane tree and fountain exceeds my physical ambiance requirement. Add a great sound system with music to match and there goes a couple of hours. Seating choices are from beach chairs to couches to tables. The food is tapas style, perfect for times when we were in the mood for light tasting or just deserts. Wines were local and more than reasonable. But ambiance is also about the restaurant staff and it’s patrons and over the course of 2 weeks at L’auberge we experienced the delightful diversity of Apt. Highly recommend. Food is of bad quality (very greasy and the chicken was cold). Service is extremely slow and chaotic. Owner was rude to us when we asked when we can place our order. We had to ask for the bill 3x. One of the tapas we ordered never came but it was still on the bill (and we asked for it to be removed).
We found this restaurant by chance and it was a great choice for lunch. It was so good we went back for dinner that same day!! Fabulous delicious food at a reasonable price. Service was friendly and personal. The paella was so good!! Definitely recommend.

nice setting, with colorful tables, transats. Smiling waitress. Simple and good tapas.Although the service is very slow/long, it discourages you to taste a dessert!
The place is nice during spring summer but the food is not so good. The tapas are very poor, the quality too. The sea food was not washed as it should be
we went to this restaurant at the baptized market this Saturday. long waiting for fades, remarks moved from the waitress (patronne?).Pass your way.
Please dress beautiful places, and allow us to enjoy it comfortably, you have to look for this type of restaurant to enjoy a city differently
