L'Auberge Espagnole Bordeaux

First of all I have to say the service at L'Auberge Espagnole is awesome - everyone my sister and I encountered were very friendly and helpful with our questions about the menu. I wish I could say the food was equally as good but it was pretty average. The Spanish omelette was probably the best plate we tried, and the Manchego & charcuterie plate was okay, but nothing to write home about. Also I could be totally ignorant of what traditional sangria is supposed to taste like, but here it was too sweet for my taste. If I came again I would get something off the wine list which looked very interesting. Again, everyone at the restaurant was really nice and I wish I could give more than 3 stars.

Amazing genuine Spanish food. Great wine and outstanding service! Congratulations to the team and props to the chef. We ordered a bottle of Hey Malbec, which we adored. Our favourite tapas that we tried were the Sepia Romana and the Croquetas. Delicious!

This tapas bar has a friendly atmosphere but unfortunately its not a restaurant. Only tapas and drinks. So not a restaurant.
