We booked a table at Auberge Fleurie for dinner mainly because it was the only restaurant in the village that we hadn’t tried (the others were good but we have limited time and didn’t want to re-visit). After booking we read some grim reviews and almost cancelled. I’m so glad we didn’t! The restaurant is staffed by two people: Monsieur in the kitchen and Madame everything front of house, no other staff. You get your table for the evening so we relaxed with a superb medium-dry rose and worked out what was happening. Everyone who has ordered a starter gets their food at the same time and the same applies to the mains and desserts. There are two choices for each course. Keep it in mind that Mad...

Our friends suggested dinner here because it was highly recommended to them by family and we were not disappointed. We started with fois gras that was delicious. The women had the scallops and the men had the pluma. We were all pleased with are choices. We had a very good gigondas at a reasonable price. Overall we were content. I noticed that numerous reviews talk of an unpleasant welcome and it’s true that the hostess does not know how to smile much less greet her guests warmly. Restaurants are a unique place. We go to eat hoping for a great meal but to some degree you feel like you’re a guest in someone’s house and therefore would like to feel welcomed. The hostess needs to work on this . I...

Firstly WOW! Secondly, this is an experience. It is a 2 man run establishment, chef and waitress. We booked a table for 7:30 and yes, we did not finish our meal until 10pm however, the food was well worth the wait! We went for the 3 course menu, main and dessert and both were absolutely fantastic! My partner chose the tuna, not a favoured choice, but very much enjoyed and we had the lamb. Out young boy had chicken and potatoes and EVERYONE one of us cleared out plates! Thirdly, dessert was spectacular! From the millefoux we had, to the apricot dessert and to the strawberry, vanilla Sunday our young son wolfed down! An absolute treat. We booked the table as we were staying locally and this wa...

We are African tourists who travelled from England to south of France. We arrived to the restaurant at 9:30 on a Saturday evening for a drink and some dessert. The place was full and people were still dining. But, when the owner first saw us she shouted the kitchen is closed and asked us to leave the place in a very rude way in front of the other customers!
