After the visit to the abbey, it started to rain. So it was an excellent occasion to have lunch. On the way to the abbey, I saw that they had a lunch special for Mussels and French Fries. That is precisely what I wanted to eat. It was delicious, and I could not get it at any other place in the same quantity and price. I did not eat other dishes, so I cannot say anything else. My friend had the wrapped fish and had problems getting it out of the wrapping. To us, the waitresses were very friendly and attentive: they checked if our bread basket was still filled and added more bread without asking. No complaint to us. But I speak French. Pris par le temps nous nous sommes enfilés dans ce restaurant sans regarder les commentaires. Déception que ce soit au niveau des moules annoncées sur la carte en terrasse mais plus disponibles, l’omelette du Mont Saint-Michel qui était très fade, le poisson servi en quantité enfant. L’assiette de fromage à 12 € contenait 6 morceaux mais de seulement 2 sortes de fromage 3 morceaux de chaque).
A very pleasant welcome, a benevolent team with customers as between employees, which allows you to spend a great time. We ate cider mussels, extra! Un restaurante que deja mucho que desear, la comida no está mal (un poco escasa), pero nos atendieron un poco lento, y encima nos pusieron en una mesa tan en medio que la gente cuando quería pasar daban con su cuerpo en nuestros platos.....

We stopped for lunch after visiting the Abbey and despite the late hour (there were 15) they served us with goodness and helpfulness. Of course, we had lunch with half a dozen oysters, a glass of soft pink cider and their desserts.
