We had our dinner here and were truly impressed. The food is lovely. We had banana blossom deep fried 'fish ', chips, vegan tartare sauce and mushy peas. The banana 'fish ' was amazing, better than ordinary fish and of course, the healthy, environmentally better choice ! There is a fab, extensive range of vegan food and what a good range of non-vegan food, though I can 't common on how good it is, I bet it is nice. It is possible to sit-in, we did. However, it has got a great deal of space, so it might be better to plan to take-out.
This is the second time we have been to this chip shop and lady is so friendly, my partner is vegan so he often struggles getting things like this. I had the sausage chips with a cup of tea he had chips with vegan fishcake with a cup of tea was delicious we ate it outside the shop in the sunshine. We had complimentary vegan mushy peas curry sauce.... I will definitely be having the curry sauce on my next visit I really recommend visiting this establishment best chippy by far and so welcoming friendly Thank you Laura's fishbar
We drove a long way to check out Laura’s Fish Bar and it was totally worth it. They do some very good traditional fish suppers (or so my kids told me) but the dedicated vegan menu is where it’s at. Vegan fish n chips, vegan battered sausage, homemade vegan tartar sauce all served with the best chips. Also incredible value of money. 5 of us stuffed our faces for £35. Highly recommend.
I highly recommend visiting Laura's Fish Bar. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. The cod bites were cooked perfectly. I was impressed when the server added more salt to the chips underneath the food. The food was fresh and cooked well. Even though I don't usually enjoy tartar sauce, I highly recommend trying the homemade one at this restaurant.

This is our fourth visit to Laura’s just visiting Whitley Bay) and the fish and chips are fantastic. We order on line and the order is ready at the requested time and is freshly cooked . Portions are large and the vegan options is a definite winner with my daughter. Would definitely recommend
Order accepted, then cancelled just before we arrived. Told she was too busy and we couldn’t have anything, no apology and appalling customer service. Store was still open for over 30 mins after our arrival and order was placed well before that. Very disappointed and won’t order again
Food was freshly cooked. Taste fantastic. Served by a lovely lady who wanted to do anything to please us. Her technique was to ensure salt was through all chips and cod bites stayed crispy. I will always go to Laura everytime I go to Whitley Bay
I walked to this restaurant from home after having a few drinks on a Friday night. The fish and chips I had were impressive and served by a lovely Turkish woman. The menu was extensive and the food overall was really good.

The restaurant offers a fantastic variety of fresh vegan dishes with excellent service. We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.
Best chips in whitley bay by far. Very freundly service and good value . The lady gave me free Turkish delight when I complimented her cooking.
