Laurentius - Reserva de mesa

We stayed only one night in Hotel Laurentius and absolutely loved our time there. We traveled with two small children and got the Grand Cru suite with the balcony. For a little bit more (cost of two cots for a night) we also got the adjoining room (which is really an upstairs funky attic room). But, truth be told, the Grand Cru was big enough on its own and we probably didn't even need the additional space.The pictures do not do this place justice. It is amazing. Our room's balcony was great, looked out the back of the hotel with a wonderful patio set complete with outdoor blankets and cushions. we were there with friends and enjoyed the two days. very nice and chic room, some other than the usual and we ate well. on the first evening in the interesting vault, the five-course menu was perfectly matched. what we especially liked: everything without much snorkel here still an aroma and there is still a saffron thread, but grounded, yet refined. then the beautiful operation by the daughter-in-law of the house, simple, but very competent. rounded from self-made chocolate to espresso. perfect. and also costly not raised, but reasonable. on the second evening we ate the pre-concert menu. also very beautiful and harmonious. a successful start for the concert in the tauber philharmonie. and...

We went for a spontaneous lunch there with my parents on their (62nd) wedding anniversary. The food served was very fresh, really delicous and great value for money. We asked for a fruity wine and the sommelier recommended a 1990 Saar Auslese. The wine was in top condition, amber colour, great complexity and perfect finish. Given the very reasonable price and the option to have it served by the glass (it might have helped) that I hinted about the wedding anniversary) it was a real treat and we were very impressed. It was one of the best wine tasted in a logn time. We intend to return soon !

Very quiet house, we slept very well! Rooms very clean, everything worked well and we were welcomed very friendly. In the evening we were pampered with a five-course menu with a wine cellar. Five stars really deserve!

Very nice location in a very cosy town centre. The wines, desserts, and food are very complimentary. Nice small town to visit for the food, setting, and city castle. Nice recommendation from a local.
