We found this place by chance on a one night stay in Turckheim and we are so glad we did. Great service from the owner who offered great info into the food but was in no way pushy with it. As for for the food (cooked by her husband), wow! The tastiest sauce I’ve ever had on a steak. The steak was cooked to perfection and our desserts were just as perfect. I had the dark chocolate mousse and my wife had the berry sorbet. As said it was gorgeous and the best meal of our 3 week roadtrip by some margin. It’s a good job we don’t live in Turckheim as we’d get fat very quickly. We’ll definitely be back in the future though. As I’ve said, pure perfection.
Absolutely the best place on our all Alsace tour. From the beginning you feel warm, home atmosphere. Place is owned and managed by friendly couple. We had earlier recommendation from professional chef but what we met and eat was better than we can expected. If you are in the neighborhood you have to visit this restaurant.
